Research project
Currently, a great deal of energy is wasted in houses due to bad energy habits. This would be solved with a system which monitors the house (eg. state of windows, doors...) and the position of their habitants. In addition, this system could have other applications such as observation of elderly people or intrusion detection. Usually the indoor localization systems require the use of tags which are localized using a set of senders or receivers. Using signal reflections for localization avoids this requirement and provides simultaneously information about the state of a room without the need of more sensors involved.
